Jupiter and Venus Conjunction

Not quite as close as I was expecting having studied the conjunction on Stellarium but still within the frame with the set up I had chosen. Not much time between when it started to get dark and the duo disappearing behind the trees but I tried my best.

So here goes from widefield to close up (well as close as I could get in the frame)

Very good - I especially like the last one. Sadly all my set up turned to nothing tonight as complete cloud cover rolled in!!

Not been a cloud in the sky here for days until about 9pm and one started moving towards the west. I gave it the evil eye and it disappeared.

I also thought they were going to look closer, what i did manage to see between the clouds wasnt that much difference from the previous night.

Yes think the predictions were out a touch

Our weather forecast was out of touch, supposed to be clear but cloud appeared on cue at sunset so no pic's here, glad you got some nice mementos
