Hi All,

The weather has been pretty bad for viewing lately, but finally got a clear one last night. I prefer mono, but decided to get out the color LS and learn more about adjusting the colors in LL. What a wonderful program Paul has created. It is really a dream to move around the sky and see these wonders of the universe pop up on the screen. I viewed 19 different DSO's and thought I would share some of them with you. I'm still learning about the best color adjustment, so any suggestions would be appreciated. The last one of M57 is with the M8 at native F10. All other captures are at F4.

Thanks for the kind comments, all. Martin, I like the Sombrero, too. The color seems to add a certain look I can't explain.

Greg, when I saw the first image of M83 come up I said wow, even though there was no one else in the room.

Paul's s/w is just amazing. LS and LL makes this so much fun and easy to do.

Fantastic images, Don! Love all of them! M57 has a special place in my heart. I managed to get a hint of green with my deep space video camera. You were able to get spectacular color!

Thanks, Reggie. M57 was the last one I got. I viewed it earlier at F4 but it was too small. So, to cap off the night I took the focal reducer out and went with the native F10. I had to refocus and then clouds started moving in. But, I didn't give up and finally got a window to get the capture. Glad you enjoyed it.
