Thick hazy background exacerbated by clouds scooting across in the foreground .... no easy session this to start a new month .... 

Shutter right down at 1/50s for these , much slower and each frame will show rotation ... 

Whittled 250 very rough frames down to 15 and still AS!2 wouldn't touch them , guess them there software engineers never heard of grey ... 

Resorted to the tried and trusted 'long' method in Reg 5.1 for this one ... 

1000D + Tal 100RS + 1.4 x Barlow + ND3.8 + OIII.

1/50s @ ISO 200 , 15/250 , Reg 5.1 , Gimp 2.8.

Aye and that little lot could be heading our way, forecast is for it to hit about 9pm.

Nice little site that, it looks like lightning might have been over my home and my weather station recorded 10mm of rain this afternoon, most of it around 2pm.

You never know we might stuck here for another week te he.
