9 groups counted, 5 north 4 south R = 158

Great seeing for a change, lots of smaller spots and pores easily visible.

in H-alpha 13 filaments counted, the semi circular filament around AR2038 the most significant.  Prominences all disappointingly small.

Plage with AR2034; 2036/37 and 2042. Bright spot of plage also seen with a small short filament near the east limb SE of AR2038.

It's the kind of day you can just keep the H-alpha scope monitoring all day and I probably will!

Had a look on Thursday and again this morning.

Its very impressive in Hydrogen alpha but in WHITE LIGHT the thing looks like the Drivers door of Bonnie and Clyde's car !

I counted 43 seperate Ubrae (some very small) this morning and even more on Thursday, with Lakes of Prenumbra about the place and the whole

thing describing two broken lines all along either side of the equator.

Very Impressive sight, and a small flare off the lower left of the Limb in my Pst made my morning.
