My first deep sky images M81/M82 + M51

Since I have had my unmodded 450D for a while I thought I would actually try some of this deep sky imaging.

Kit used:

Camera: 450D + Shutter release timer

Scope: WO Z80FD

Mount: NEQ6 (no guiding).

Stacked with DeepSkyStacker

Processed with PixInsight and Harry's newbie video tutorials.

M81 and M82

Date: 23/03/2011

ISO800

30 x 1min subs

11 darks

No flats

Date: 02/04/2011

ISO800

85 x 1min subs

29 darks

No flats

So I guess the question is what should my next steps be?

Thanks for all the comments. I am really pleased with what I was able to achieve in my light polluted garden. Now all I need is a clear night without the moon shining down and I can take on a new target. I guess I am not alone wanting that though!
