Waxing Gibbous.

First time out with the tracking motor on the moon. Very happy with results. Registax is so much easier to use with tracked captures.

SPC900 webcam, no Barlow.

Composed of 15 panes - most panes were duplicated as I went over the moon twice to capture more detail.

Each capture was between 300 and 500 frames.

This is a superb composition you must be very happy with the results? I gave it a go once and found it so much hard work trying to get the image uniform that I never tried again but this image has inspired me to give it another go.

Does anyone know if it is possible to view the last quarter from our side of the planet? Would that be possible in 6 months and before sunrise?

Very nicely done. Tracking does make these much easier.
