Another Leo Triplet - but my first

Not up to Olly's standard but this is my first go. I managed to get 3 hours and 20 mins before the scope kissed the mount :icon_eek:

20 x 10 minute subs at iso 800 with my Vixen FL102S refractor and Canon 40D camera together with darks and flats. Stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop.

The galaxies are great, Dave. If I were you I'd give the free PixInsight trial a spin because it will really sooth your background sky. Dynamic background Extraction and Background Neutralization. Harry has tutorials on both.

Really nice image Dave, well done. I was observing this the other night in binos, what a difference!

Out of curiousity, what is the lighter band running vertically through the middle of the group?
