DIY Dew Shields

Hi

Recently bought some black neoprene 1mx1m online and velcro from Wilcos, knocked up dew shields for my 250pds, 120ED and finderscopes - all for £15 and still have material available for more

The good thing is these roll up or stay flat so easily stored and transported too, material seems quite hard wearing.

Neoprene circa £12 delivered, velco circa 2.50 for 1m from Wilkinsons.

Beats paying significantly more for branded products!

Beats the camping mat I use, which works fine as a dew shield but needs to be handled fairly gently when off the scope, certainly no folding it up!

Staples! I didn`t think of that. My velcro isn`t self adhesive and I`ve been staring at my home made dew shield wondering how I was going to make it stick.
