It's a lovely looking thing but no indication of a price.

I wonder if it's a nice to look through as it is to look at ?.

While I get nostalgic for these things, there is a practical part of my mind that says a modern ED100 will probably have better light transmission and show less CA.

But the vintage scopes are great to look at and be inspired by

This advert looks like Richard Day from Skylight telescopes. If this is correct you can be sure that the scope is in excellent condition but its likely to be expensive.

Yes it will be interesting what Phil has to say about this scope. It looks very similar to his 4" Fullerscope which I think is on a Cooke mount. I am hoping Phil brings this scope to SGL6.
