Revelation 5x Barlow

Any good or a waste of money?

intended targets: Saturn, Jupiter, Moon, M31.

Scope: Skywatcher Explorer 150P

Camera: SPC900

A 5x Barlow will be a bit much for your scope, your webcam will already give substantial magnification due to its small chip size. A 2x or 3x Barlow would probably be a better bet and give you a better chance of a good image in our weather conditions

I think I've also read more than once in these forums that if you're looking at going as far as a 5x barlow then a TV powermate may be a better idea. I don't recall that I've seen anyone explain why though.
