cheshire collimator

hello all i have a celestron 130 eq/f4 scope will the cheshire be good enough to collimate (?) the scope.as ive just spent quite a bit on astro gear and the Cheshire is a bit cheaper than the lasers and i just want to check before i order from flo. i would have just used a cap but as i understand my scope is to fast for this

Thats a standard Reflector setup so a Cheshire should be fine. I use a Chehsire on my Reflector.

I use one for my F5 reflector without a problem, and have found Astro Babys site very helpful regarding collimation.

I used the collicap and Cheshire for almost twenty years with a variety of newts...never had any real problems....

A collimation tool is an accentual with a newtonian , i always give my scope a quick check every time i use it as it is also an F4.
