Yidoboy
That's superb!. Brilliant detail. I can't wait until I can upgrade my kit to get pictures like that! Oh and the expertise to use it......

martin_h
Hi Martinlovely Image and Im with Rob_Jn, NGC 3628 nice Detail DougEssexA lot of jiggery-pokery went on to get the detail. After the usual processing I had a humumgus gradient in the bottom left of the image, I tried a different flat but it made no difference. But by removing the gradient in software I was clipping the black a bit and loosing fine detail in the edges of the galaxies, so I made a copy and removed the gradient, layer masked it over the original and "painted" the galaxies through, then used a load of gaussian blur to blend the edges in. prokyon
Very nice! You have a little gradient in the field. To remove it would make the image almost perfect.CheersWerner

m_j_lyons
very nicely done - and the artist is always his own worst critic - so no, you're never really done.
