D90 software

I would like to control my d90 with laptop is there any software available for this except nikon control room 2?.

As cost for this is stupid... :rolleyes:

any sugestions....

As a user of both Nikon and Canon Cameras I thinks it ludicrous that Nikon force you to buy software which Canon give you FOC :eek:

I got a BNIB copy of Nikon Camera control 2 Pro in an auction goodie box for £5 :rolleyes:

There is some free/cheap stuff out there and the Nikonians website may be a good place to have a look. I did find some cheap software for my D70, but I got a 1000D for astro work (plan being to mod it). A quick Google found http://nikonrumors.com/2011/01/10/nikontrol-3k-is-a-free-remote-control-pc-software-for-nikon-dslrs.aspx but I can't vouch for it.

Had a look at the web site but program does not support raw as yet thanks for the advice will keep looking.

I've not tried this app but looking through a few comments, will it write Raws to the memory card ?
