Got my scope outside, got it aligned. Cloud comes over. Drizzle starts. got scope back inside...

I have picked the most frustrating hobby I have ever had! Thankfully I am sure the rewards are just around a cloudy corner!

Don't worry, it will pick up eventually. This is possibly one of the worst winters i can remember. Not normally as bad as this.

At least it got cloudy before it got dark here... this time. Sky looked OK at 5pm though and did think I might get some time in.

I left Liverpool at 6:45...looked up and saw stars:hello2: Even saw Orion...thought...hey, might have a chance of dragging the scope out.

By Preston it was drizzling. By Forton it was getting foggy. By Lancaster it was a proper pea-souper. So I have had a bacon sarnie to cheer me up, as I aint seeing any stars tonight:mad::mad:

Even if you had 2 mins of clear skies, after almost 3 months of cloudy skies and bad weather over the winter months, it's worthwhile mate!!
