CG-5 Goto upgrade

Hi guys,

Just wondering if it is possible to upgrade a standard CG-5 mount to goto? Ive tried searching the web and I cant come to any solution to where I can purchase a kit to allow it to turn into a Goto synscan mount. I heard that the CG-5 is similar to an EQ5, but does the EQ5 upgrade kit work with the CG-5 if anybody knows?

That's interesting. Is this purely to allow Go-To functionality or can it also be used to attach guiding equipment?

yes, guiding is also possible with GOTO uprade fro EQ5.
