IC417

Found this tonight in a sky full of patchy fog and clouds. As Rog. did the other evening, I pressed on to see what would happen as he had good results (like he ever has the other sort!).

Well at least I think its IC417, the goto thought so, so it must be I suppose.

BTW the glow top left is something just out of shot, and it's supposed to be there.

i,ve had alook around that neb Martin , cant see anything , other than some very bright stars , could be one of them i guess

I think its NGC 1931, from this guy's shot http://www.ruppel.darkhorizons.org/ic_417__ngc_1931.htm Could be wrong as there was quite a bit of cloud about, so it might be something else or even my neighbour's lights getting in on the act.
