Morning All,

Me and 0113Mountainman (Steve) from here met up last night at Farnley park in LS12 to do some gazing... Got some great shots of the double cluster, orion nebula, moon and Jupiter even though the moon was brighter than my torch last night... (We plan to revisit the park when the moon isn't in the way!! )

Just wondered if anyone else fancied meeting up with us? Gave us both some great ideas and tips and tricks...

We were trying to think of dark sites last night where we could get some even better viewing but was struggling to think of anyway in a short distance?

We thought about up Ilkley way near cow n calf pub...Which is good for a pint on way home...

Let us know and we'll get some nights sorted,

We've found a great place at FARNLEY PARK in LS12 if any of you are up for it ??? (Totally safe, nice and dark)
