Horizon 8115 2-way heavy duty tripod ?

Im thinking of getting one of these from FLO & just wanted to find out

if anyone used one before & what they thought of it or if you know

where to get a similar type or better one for the same price £80 ish

Hi,

I bought one of these tripods to use with my 20x80 binocs and found that although the legs and central column were sturdy, the head wasn't strong enough for them. I had to replace the head with something which held the binocs in place once I'd found the object I was looking for as they kept 'drooping' away from the position I wanted.

I also have the Horizon 8115 and find it to be a great tripod I use a pair of Opticron

15x80 on it
