M42 and the running man

The last two nights have been amazing. I spent the first night observing mainly double stars in Orion, the following morning caught an image of Venus and in the evening firstly the Moon (mosaic) and some close ups - stil to be processed. Later I had a crack at M42

Details: Vixen FL102S scope with Canon 40D unmodded camera

17 x 5 mins, 21 x 2 mins, 27 x 30s. Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker and processed in Photoshop. This is my first attempt at combining images of different exposures and although generally very pleased with the result I'm not too happy about the colour in the trapezium area. Any advice on that or any other means of improving the image would be gratefully received.
