Wow, the stars have come out very clearly, and the sky very dark, considering the light pollution from what I guess is a street light illuminating the house and tree-tops. What lens and settings did you use for ISO speed/shutter speed/aperture, if you dont mind my asking?

Yes the light pollution from the pesky street lights is a pain but I went behind my garden wall to cut out the worst of it. I used a lumix G1 with its standard lens and set it to manual ISO was 200 and 400 with widest aperture setting and adjusted shutter speed to the centre guide dial about 8 seconds on ISO of 400 and 13 on 200 ISO. I intend to have another crack at it with my camera piggy backed to my telescope so I can do some longer exspoures later on. It was cold and I needed to hit the sack so I took the shots pretty quickly. Im still on a vast learning curve with all this. Heres a few more..
