Philips ToUcam ProII Software

Hi folks,

I have bought and installed my Philips ToUcam ProII 840K on my Windows 7 PC. Finally I have found a suitable diver and when I look in hardware manager, its says the cam is working fully funktionally.

My question now is: Do I have to install the software that came with it to get it working (problem is that it wont install at all and saying that a usb string is missing)

OR

is there any other software that I can use to capture the video via the cam?

Maybe there is a simple solution to this problem? Any help is muchly appreciated!

Now you have the cam working with the driver, all you need to do is install some free software like Craterlet:

Craterlet

Craterlet is very easy to use but there is some help/tutorials on the website. Your cam should be ready to go now.

Cratelets is good. You could try WXastrocapture or SharpCap as well.
