C33 NGC 6992 The Eastern Veil Nebula (Hi Res)

Hi guys,

Here's one image which was waiting to be processed since summer... It's the result of 20 five minute frames which I shot at the first or second session using the SBIG ST8300C (and one of the Powernewt prototypes).

Temprature was quite high in the desert even at the late hour in which this was shot, and all I could get the chip down to was -8C.

Though the image covered a much larger area - I decided to crop a zoom in on one of the more interesting areas of the nebula. Note, this is shot at a focal length of less than 600mm, which limits the final resolution, but I'm kind of okay with the result as it is.
