Galaxies through binoculars

Out again tonight with my 20 x 80 binos...

Just loving touring the sky with these. Pleides were stunning as always. The Orion nebula was very obvious with the little dark inset visible.

That star to the right of the belt in Orion seemed double to me. After checking it is a double with be a 7 mag attendant at 52".

Andromeda galaxy was very fine with M32 and M110 just possible despite the glorious half moon..

Jupiter looked fine with the four moons in a line beneath it.

Of course I had to try a tough galaxy. NGC 2841 was just visible with averted vision to the right of the plough.

Finally a few Geminids;...are they normally bright but slow?

Only 12 days until I get my manfrotto tripod and joystick ball head!:)

Clear skies
