Yeah, I know, silly title but with all those letters floating around it's hard to get them all in the right order. Shame it doesn't have a proper name, like "The TS Night-trip" or something...

Anyway, my lightweight tube rings arrived today (thanks FLO) so I can now mount this little beauty alt-az style for the ultimate in Grab'n'Go!

The last few nighs have been clear but very cold and I didn't want to set up an EQ mount, so this will be useful on the colder nights this winter for quick looks.

Please excuse the jiggles on the third pic - but you get the general idea!

Thanks folks! My super-modded AZ3 has outlasted all alt-az competition, and I think it will continue to do so! (Including the Vixen Ports and Giro II)

Yea, I went for the one with the Moonlite focuser, It looks like a fantastic scope and I have only read good things about them and there is a few people on here that are happy owners.

Hopefully the weather wont stop it getting here before christmas.
