Yeah.  That's why I check this site every day.  Some astounding stuff there.  Follow the links embedded in the descriptions, too.  Lotsa fun and accurate follow up info.  Many are references back to older APOD's, but some are the actual reference papers and research institutions.  You'll soon learn the difference.

Use the search function and search Joe Orman.  He's a pal of mine and is showing slides for us next week before our Stone Haven Pot luck/Star party.  He's had a couple dozen pics on there.

Quick scoot on Joe brings up some superb pictures. I especially like the short-exposure-5minutewait-long-exposure trick, they came out fantastically well.
