Oh how I laughed!

Well just spent an hour out in the cold trying to set the scope up to image the Elephant Trunk Neb. Couldn’t find it anywhere (with an accurately aligned goto scope permanently mounted in an Obsy!).

Oh how I laughed when I realised that my planetarium programme had pointed the scope at the Elephant Trunk cluster and not the diffuse Nebula (both very close but outside the FoV of my little Atik camera).

Damm computers doing what you ask them not what you want…..

Yes – got image in the end – not as many subs as I would have liked (due to starting late….)
