Something in the system is causing some colour fringing??

I recently bought a GSO 2.5X Barlow which turned out to be almost useless as it caused fringing (different to yours though) I have a friend with the same Barlow who has no problems? Just my luck to get a dud.

I'm not saying that the Blue fringing is caused by the Barlow, but it's an easy component to check.

Focus looks good, and I like the colour.

I am currently using 4 different barlows trying to work out which is better, the latest being the 2.5 revelation APO as I wanted a slightly higher image scale, but strangely it gives exactly the same mag as my meade126 2x barlow. the fringing may be worse because i had the saturation set a bit hi.
