PACMAN Nebula My 1st Ha Image

Well 2 1st's really 1. First Ha & 2. first proper image with the 314L+

12 x 7 minutes Astronomik MK2 Ha Filter @ -5 degrees

No darks or bias etc... straight from the camera...

Taken through a Sigma 100-300mm f/4 EX DG lens @ f/5.6

Very happy so far... cant wait to add more data and possible colour:)

Yes I use 15m at F5.9

heheh... I would but Ive only just mastered the art of balancing a dual rail and PHD with a GEM system..... onwards and upwards... now fork mounted SCT is another matter... DEAD EASY..

Great start. Ha is a wonderful world, free from street lights, moony blues and chromatic abberation...

No haloes, I see, so Astronomik are back on track. Fifteen minutes next time!!
