C11 scope...how do i focus?

If you need to take it apart and regrease the mirror movement I've got the right grease and can send you some (you only need a very small amount but it comes in big tubes!)

Hello Neil. Rest assured that there is no way in which you can permanently distort a mirror once it has been freed , I'm sure the remaining problem is purely mechanical. From what I can recall, Celestron mirrors are siliconed to a backplate and the mirror aligned whilst the silicone is setting, one reason why there is no need for primary mirror adjustment, it could be that this setting has been disturbed or the baffle tube forced out of true. Where are you located, there is probably a spread of SGL members capable of having a look at it.
