M52&Bubble Nebula

This is 3hr 40mins in a mixture of 7 and 15minute subs. I had thought that 15mins would be totally washed out with light pollution and moon glow but I guess this is one other advantage of a CCD with a 16bit DAC?

I am finding that I seem to be picking up loads of red, but again I think this is just the result of moving from a DSLR to a CCD, I also find the CCD picks up loads more stars:hello2:

I will re-visit this when the moon is not around and I also think the FOV would better suit the SCT but as I am still getting to grips with the QHY8 I thought it best to stick to widefield for the moment.

Took some flats this morning and had another play around with the data - how does this look?

Craig, thats a belter mate, never tire of looking at the bubble..... Its on me target list for Kielder, wonder how the F4 will behave with that.

Yeah, getting used to it..... I find that the stars are so small that I need to blur the stars a little to make them less small and sharp!
