Jupiter from 02:30 this morning

I'm beginning to get to grips with the colour DFK camera. Both these images captured at 30 fps. The moon in the first image is, I think, Io.

Which scope ?

Thanks. The scope used was the 8 inch, F5 Newt with a x4 powermate. Blue? Hmmm. It doesn't look blue on my lappy screen.

I set up at 23:00 but soon got clouded out and went indoors. Just as I was going to bed at 02:00, I let the cat in and noticed a clear sky. I set up quickly and luckily the GRS was there.

It's early days for me and the camera but it's already delivered my best Jupiter on the second attempt, so yes, I would recommend it.

TIS cameras will give more than webcams. As well as mono cams can give more than color. And so on
