Philips Toucam Pro help

I've recently obtained a Philips Toucam Pro 840K with the intention of using it for astrophotography.

The problem is, I can't get the installation CD to load on my laptop (Vista) and think it's down to it only being suitable for use with Windows XP and earlier programmes.

This means I've not been able to use the webcam yet.

Is there a way I can get the webcam to work on my Vista laptop, or have I wasted my money ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Drop me a PM with your email address. I have a set of files which will let the older webcams be used under Vista.

I had this problem with my 740. I flashed it to SPC900NC spec and it works fine in vista. But I think Merlin will be helping you with this.!
