eyepiece storing etc

whats everyone keep there eyepieces etc in and any linkls to the exact items would be good am in need of a storage device and wondered if i should just get a aluminum flight case or if there was owt else people used.

Maplin do an ali case that they have on offer for £14.95 on occasions, I've got one and I think a fair number of others on the forum do to. It has removable squares of foam and I have three eyepieces a barlow, a diagonal, cleaning fluid and cloth, and three filters.

I have the large Maplin flightcase - bargain at £14.99

I also have the Maplin "fake Pelican" high-impact case, which is very robust but much less value for money IMO. Great for 'scope and eyepieces in the hold of an aeroplane though.

Works a treat and will never need foam recutting when I change eyepieces (I do that a bit), and takes everything I need for the night.

I use the larger Maplins aluminum case with pluck foam inside. I make an indentation for each eyepiece then the foam in the lid holds them in place when the case is shut.

Orion large eyepiece case (from Scs astro) with the foam cut by hand (isnt pluck type). Nice case. The limitation for me is that big 2" EPs (eg ethos) need to go flat and that takes up space. A bigger Peli case eg 1550 will hold those upright... My binoviewer needs a separate case. Then the scope bits need another box. The three case situation is kind of bugging me now.

I picked up a s/h orange Peli case from Fleabay (simply love orange and couldn't go back to a metal case after I saw it ) and bought a new pluck'n' fit foam insert.

I use the Jessops black flight case. (like the maplin one but not shinny silver)
