nah, I've got a plan this time. Orthos for planets, a couple of Stratus (Stratii?) for deepsky (probably get the 21mm as well) and the Moonfish for wide views.

Hopefully mate. THB most of the stuff I've picked up is just what people have thrown in with other deals, I know it looks like a buy stuff just to put in my Astro draw but I'm not that bad really!!

Lol i know matey, you will always end up with loads of 10mm and 25mm eps with the scopes ya get new or secondhand i think they breed em like tribbles..

Just bagged an Orion Stratus 17mm for £41 on Ebay!!!

Yep Steve but the Baader are supposed to have slightly better coatings. They work very well in f5 scopes apparently.

As you know it's a bit tricky getting widefield EPs for a f5 but the advice got off Cloudynights was that these were the next best thing to Naglers and the like.

People seem to like them all. Maybe its 'new purchase' syndrome but even a few of the guys who really know what they are on about say they are good for the money. I'd guess with our Newts the 21, 13 and the 8 would be nice picks. Hence why I have the 17!!
