Camera lens quick test

Friday night cleared for a while, not really in the mood for setting up the big scope I decided to try a lens on the CCD camera and Ha filter, Cheep CarlZeiss lens off Ebay, 13 quid, full oppened at F1.8 8 x 5 mins worth. Ive had to crop quite a bit due to severe vignetting that flats did not resolve. Camera attached to counter weight shaft via a Manfrotto super clamp - great lettle bit of kit - will post more on later

Next time will stop down a bit, was a nice bit of fun

Ohh really nice FOV there, can make out detail in several nebulae I really like this image!

Try GradientXTerminator if your flats aren't doing the business.

Works ok then ? Cant beat these Wider FOV images especially around Cygnus...

I need to go shopping again...
