They are so frustrating, I haven't had a proper viewing session outside for weeks, just brought my scope indoors to get Jupiter on the odd occasion the clouds break. Tonight I got in about 10mins of Jupe observing before he disappeared behind some more clouds.

hi, same in surrey but whe it has cleared, i just went back to the basic's......sat out side and just looked up.

I have not really had a good view in my telescope since I got it last month! I do hope we are due for some nice crisp skies soon!

I'm on holiday in Devon. Only clear night was Sunday but the moon washed everything out. Aaaaaaaargh

I too am sick of these persistent clouds, I haven't had a clear night in a bout a month and no chances yet to try out any of my scopes' upgrades at all. Thats the price you pay for buying Hilux coatings, a new crayford focuser and a telrad all in one go I guess
