missing my star gazing

i have started a new job about a month ago that leaves me with no time to use my scope due to the late nights and i feel like im missing out on so much its been nearly 5 weeks since i used my scope can not wait for the ealry nights!

i work late quite often, thats one of the reasons i got the little mak. sneak it in and have a few moments with it

Bring on late Oct and the dark evenings. I almost never observe from June to Oct.

Till the nights get longer, maybe you could get a solar filter? There's been an increase in sunspot activity recently.

I work on a boat, month on and month off.

And as sods law predicts.....beautifull clear nights at home when im away and clouds when im at home!...DAMN YOU SODS LAW!!!!

if not, take your scope with you, you can have some fantasic night skies at sea

I should imagine that a boat really heaves about, at least the rig is tensioned on its anchors, so movement is quite restrained.
