umberto
Welcome! Good thing that you are enjoying the binoculars - I struggle to get on with them myself.Fortunately, the only thing I have to compare them to is a toy telscope which is near impossible to see anything through. Moon and milky way aside, I am mostly just using the binos to learn how to "star hop" - To be honest it takes me so long to find anything that the thrill of success makes up for the view being less than impressive in its own right:o. Although I am very tempted to jump in with a proper telescope I want to join the local astro club before wading in.I know what you mean though. Less the imagination, the view of a DSO through 10x50 binoculars is underwhelming to say the least .
