Mare Imbrium (Plato to Copernicus) - Nikon D300

Shot this image last night (Sunday 23rd May) with Nikon D300 + 2X barlow thru 8.5" f/5 Newtonian. Stacked 5 images in Registax with wavelets (still struggling to get to grips with the underlying logic?) then final touch up in CS3.

Thanks for posting your image David - isn't it interesting how dramatically this lovely area of the moon can change over just a couple of days.
