bright light ISS?

Evening - I was just having a nose around the skies in Basingstoke and a very bright light caught my eye going west to east 10:13pm GMT- just checked Stellarium and if i am right it was the ISS - is this right? is it very bright? anyone else see this??

Reading the "Iridium?" post I assume it was the ISS, also dimming the more east it went. Oh well - impressive for my first site of it!

Yes I saw it on Sunday night,and it was very bright,even visible through a thin layer of cloud as it came in from the west.

It's skimming the south coast tonight in 5 mins time (9pm) and also at 10:35pm a little further north from south Wales in a straight line over to the East coast.

Well it was cloudy here at 9pm but it's cleared a tad for the second pass now - I might just see it skim over the horizon if we're lucky - I'll tell ya in ten mins

Woohooo I'm a happy bunny - just seen it clear as daylight like a slow/big shooting star - good deal higher elevation than I thought so very nice indeed

If I am understanding this page at Heavens Above it should be possible to see it pass more or less overhead (in London) this evening around 21.28 at Mag -3.3.

Yup tonight at 21:25 and 23:01 - be there or be square.

First pass is at 74 degrees alt - second one a bit low at 46 degrees.

That was stunning (1st pass) and totally by chance i had fired up stellarium and checked where it was... oh 2 minutes away!

No ISS over here for a while yet, I quite miss the old truck after some of the increadible views I've had.

It was cloudy here for the first pass, but the second one was amazing. I managed to catch practically all of the visible pass!
