My best Saturns so far

Despite the streetlights and the moon, these are the best images of Saturn I have obtained so far.

* 6SE+neximager, 1200/1200 frames @ 1/10s (yes, registax selected ALL 1200)

* 6SE+neximager+2x barlow, 252/1200 frames @ 1/5s

I'm impressed! I tried videoing Saturn last night and it's not easy. I'm just off to fire up Registax, but I doubt I'll get anything as good as that.

You need a faster shutter speed, 1/25 or 1/33...good effort though.

did u try changing quality percentage for stacking less than all 1200 ?

SC: I took one with 1/25 second, but the resulting image is worse than this one

AMcJ: I did wonder about that. Was not sure if using fewer frames would produce a worse result, or that would be balanced by the increase quality of those it did use. Also it was late. But I will go back and give that a try.
