NGC 4945

Recommended Posts

Here's one I managed to get last night. It's 13 million light years away. I got 1hr 36mins of 6min subs before the fog climbed up the hill to cover our place.

Equipment:

Canon 1000D Modded, SW 250px, EQ6 eqmod, ST80 and QHY5

Software:

Guidemaster, PHD, DSS, Cdc, PixInsight

There's a line from a satellite which I probably should stacked out in DSS. This one sits in Centaurus just a little way from Centaurus A.

Very nice image, NGC 4945 is full of strange and interesting detail. Are you the first SGL member to image it??

I think some of the other Southern members might have imaged it but it looks like mine is the first one posted. Thanks for the comments. NGC 4945 is apparently a bit like the Milky Way.
