Hi! I'm funoooo, and live in Hong Kong.

Weekday, I stay and work in Mainland China. Weekend, will come back to Hong Kong for my little baby. :)

Thus, my observation place is mostly in Mainland China living place's roof. There is a lot of light pollution. My observating time must be after 2:00 a.m. That will be slightly better than before the mid-night. In Hong Kong, we will go to country side for the observation, but it is still not good enough.:p The light and air pollution is the worst case for us. That is so difficult to make the nice picture in Hong Kong.:)

My setup will be as follows:

1. RoboDome

2. LX-200 10" GPS

3. Canon 450D

Hi, welcome to SGL. I'm also based in a city and light pollution is a pain, so I travel out into the country for dark sites, but getting decent views of the moon and brighter objects like m31, m42 and pleiades aren't so bad...and if you're into imaging you won't have any problem getting some good lunar mosaics.

Thanks all stargazer.

I hope to share and enjoy in this forum.

My target is imaging. I have the Sbig St-10XME and DSI for imaging. My setup will be ready at the summer. (I am building the robo-dome, it take the time.) I hope to submit some pictures to forum in the future.

:)
