Playing in my office tonight I had the Celestron 80mm f/5 on a photo tripod where I'd been playing with the 0.5X FR on the SC3 webcam. Well through the blinds I saw a target (you can guess what) so I lined it up. No tracking, through the double glazing AND venetian blinds (angled well but still lowered) to see what happened. I was going for an image scale thing as M31 is the intended victim.

Amazingly the 30 second AVI files registaxed as above. These are crops from the originals.

Totally gobsmacked with these as its almost 100% cloudy and the conditions were just plain wrong for getting an image.

Just had to tell somebody.

yup you are probably up to about 40% obstruction there. A little bit worse than an SCT
