Saturn at Opposition (22 Mar)

The night of Saturn's opposition being reasonably clear, I couldn't resist attempting to image it, despite rather poor seeing and some trouble with wind vibration. The result isn't great but FWIW here it is:

Celestron CPC1100, prime focus (f/10), Astronomik type 2c colour seperation & Planet Pro 742 IR pass filters, Imaging Source DMK21 camera.

Transparency good, seeing poor. Temperature +2C, wind S force 2-3 gusting 4.

Nice images - you have captured the rings rather well nice and crisp - I am struggling to get a decent go at Saturn and have not had any joy getting anything like the quality shown here.
