Back in the land of the imaging!!!

Hello,

Well its taken ages to get over various problems with kit etc. This is my first image with my newly aquired SXVH9. Just a single 600 sec sub (guiding test really) of an object i`ve never imaged!!!

First time i`ve got Maxim working and boy am i happy. Constant guide errors of around 0.3 pixels!!! Its just so easy to use. I am never going back to Guide Master (never thought i`d ever say that). Couldn`t get the flats to work as the ccd moved as i went to posistion it for the Light box!!! Oh well.

I`ve completely missed the winter but i`m looking forward to imaging my favorite targets... galaxies!!!

Image taken with the Borg @ f6.5 SXVH9 and Skywatcher LPR (good value for the dosh!!!)
