Same here in Bournemouth - there's 'supposed' to be a group in Poole, but darned if I can find any details. Crewkerne sounds closest, but TBH, that's a bit of a trip from this side of Bournemouth. Maybe it explains why the nearest supplier is in Somerset, 2 hours drive away...

I'm in North Somerset (Portishead). There is a well established Bristol Astronomy Club but I've never plucked up enough courage to join. I've been told it's rather "stuffy" which is probably what's put me off (apologies if any BAS members read this - feel free to put me straight !).

It would be great if we could establish something, say bi-monthly, within reasonable reach of all us SW folk.
