keef_uk
Nice clear skies tonight so I took the scope out and tried my frist go at imaging a DSO - as you can see I have tried my hand at M42, for a first attempt I am quite please with it.My problem is trying to get focus on the camera cause it really hard to look through the cam whilst practially lying on the floor turning the focus wheel trying not to cause to much vibration to mount, particularlly cause its cold and wearing glasses hinders things - if anyone has some tips that might make this easier I'm all ears Any feedback on the photo is welcome (good or bad) but remember I am still starting out and finding it a very steep learning curve. This is only 19x 15sec pics staked in DeepSkyStacker - not sure what dark, flat offset/bias files are but im sure the readme will reveal all lolAnyway here it is
