Binocular Tripod adaptor doesn't fit ?

Hi

Took delivery of a new Tripod and adaptor yesterday to mount my 10x50 Bresser Binoculars. When i tried to screw the adaptor into the Binoculars seemed a very tight fit - so the binoculars are mounted but move about from side to side ( If that makes sense) are these adaptors pretty universal? or is this just too big for the Binocular thread

What make or model adaptor?

Some have better "clamps" than others....

Thats what I had to do.

I had to do the same with my Bresser 10x50's

You may have either an incorrect thread or you have "cross threaded" when trying to assemble them?
