Hi All

Newbie to the forum.

Finally got to use the new scope (First 'real' scope) for the first time earlier this evening before the cloud and snow again rolled in, so thought its a good time for an intro.

A long look at Jupiter its gorgeous yellowish disk with the 4 satellites

strung out to one side some greyish banding on the disk of Jupiter itself, most prominant being just to the north.

And a quick one at Albireo since everyone raves about it, Rave On I say!

Been fasinated for years ... had small binos and a 'toy' scope good enough to get a glimpse of saturns rings in the past. But I can already see from that hour or so that I'm going to be totally hooked again.

Andy
